While the podcast is free to listen to it is not free to make, we have already invested in equipment, a place to podcast from, time, web hosting, etc… If you enjoy the podcast and want to support us in making it even better you can make a monthly donation via Patreon.
There are various levels of rewards at $4 (~£3), $7 (~£5) & $12 (~£10) per month so you’re not just giving us money for nothing (except the days worth of free content you’ve already enjoyed). You could get early access to listen to new episodes before anyone else, get a shout out on the podcast or access to our classic podcasts that can’t be heard anywhere else!
If you can’t or simply don’t want to sign up that’s cool too, the podcast will always be free for you to enjoy, why not help us spread the word by recommending us to a friend – word of mouth advertising is the best way to let people know Trampled Bat exists.
How to manually add your Patreon RSS Feed into your podcast app
Patreons get access to extra & early content based on the tier you sign up to; Francis Bacon – 24 hour Early Access to new episodes, Henry Bacon – Early Access plus Classic Episodes, Kevin Bacon – Early Access & Classic Episodes plus The Trampled Bat Vault of around 40 episodes of pre-Episode 1 content that isn’t available anywhere else!
You can listen directly on Patreon or have the episodes fed to your usual podcast app, copy the URL from Patreon (see picture below):
iTunes (Mac & Windows)
Click on “File” in the top left menu. Then select “Subscribe to Podcast…” from the dropdown and paste the feed URL. Click ok and voilà!
Podcasts App (iOS)
Tap the “My Podcasts” button on the bottom row of icons. Then hit the + button in the top left corner, and select “Add Podcast” from the pop up. Then you paste in the feed URL and hit subscribe.
Pocket Casts (iOS, Android & Web)
Paste the URL of the feed into the search field and hit search. Done!
Overcast (iOS & Web)
Tap the + button in the top right like you normally would to add a podcast. Then tap “Add URL” in the top right, paste the feed URL and hit done!
Podcast Addict (Android)
Tap the + sign in the top right. Then choose”Add RSS Feed” and paste in the URL of the RSS feed. Tap “Add.”
Downcast (iOS & Mac)
Tap “Add” on the bottom bar, press “Add Podcast Manually” and in the “Feed” field paste the URL of the RSS feed. Then hit “Subscribe” in the top right.
Podcast apps that do not support manual RSS
Currently it is not possible to manually add a RSS feed to Google Play Music, Spotify or iHeartRadio
